As we’re counting down the days until we open, we thought what better way to get you excited about our opening Tutto bar menu than to give you a real taste of Italy?

Our incredibly talented Bar Manager Laura has given us a refreshing insight into the selection and methods behind one of our new cocktails ‘The Foresta Nera’ that will be launching on the Tutto bar menu. Just a little something to give you a real taste of Tutto in your own home before you can come in and enjoy it for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 45ml Monkey 47 Sloe Gin
  • 15ml Homemade Charred Lemon Cordial
  • 2dash Cherry Bitters

Method: Add the above measures together and simply stir!
Glassware: Nick & Nora
Garnish: Lemon twist

Its concept is unassuming but very much reflects the Tutto ethos; to hero the best produce and induce memories of Italy. It is made with Homemade Charred Lemon Cordial which is hand crafted by slicing the best lemons you can find and grilling them until charred, they are then placed in a bag with their own juices, vacuum packed and sealed for 12 hours with no additional unnatural flavouring or sugar to keep the beautiful lemon citrus flavour at the centre and let a real depth of flavour develop. This process creates a really clean cocktail that harnesses those beautiful flavours that evoke Italy.

Keeping ingredients at the centre ‘The Foresta Nera’ recipe ensures that we are celebrating the punchy, natural flavours that are bountiful in Italian mixology to create a flavour and experience that sings and stays with you. What we will always aim to do at Tutto; is to transport our guests to their favourite memories of Italy.
